Jesús & Lola
The wedding was much more than a celebration: it was a love story in every detail, inspired by the deep blue of Lola's engagement ring. This vintage sapphire, which Jesús gave her at the Colosseum in Rome, sparked a visually symbolic concept. In honor of this jewel, the color blue infused every corner of the décor, from the centerpieces to the delicate floral accents, creating a seamless thread that silently told the story of their love.
From Inspiration To Reality
The Dolce Vita aesthetic came to life on the estate, as traditional Positano vases were reimagined as Valencian vessels, paying tribute to the region's artisanal heritage. Instead of lemons, which embody the Mediterranean spirit, local oranges took center stage, evoking the essence of the land where they grew up. This special touch beautifully connected the Mediterranean essence with Valencia's rich cultural heritage.
Dresses That Tell Stories
Lola, renowned for her impeccable sense of style, chose two dresses from the Milanova brand that perfectly reflected her versatile spirit. One of them, a convertible design, accompanied her through the different moments of the evening, from the solemnity of the ceremony to the energy of the party. Each wardrobe change revealed a new facet of the celebration, highlighting the bride's sophistication and natural elegance.
A Ritual With History
The religious ceremony took place at the San Vicente Parish in Benimamet, a location deeply significant to Lola’s family, as it was where her grandparents and other previous generations were married. At the end of the ceremony, a delightful surprise awaited the guests: at the church doors, a decorated train stood ready to transport them to the estate. At the front of the train, a sign read, "Hop on, there are trains that only pass once in a lifetime," inviting everyone to join this unique journey alongside the newlyweds. During the ride, the iconic song El Chacachá del Tren played, creating a festive and cheerful atmosphere as the guests made their way to the reception venue. This journey served as a magical transition between the solemnity of the ceremony and the warmth of the celebration that awaited them at the estate.
A First Dance Full of Surprises
The guests were astonished when, during the banquet, Jesús and Lola opened the celebration by performing the iconic song "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" in a flamenco version, inspired by Pitingo’s heartfelt rendition. The sound and lighting by Gente de Bien made this moment shine even brighter, while the Gospel choir, accompanied by a piano, added a vibrant and emotional atmosphere. This opening set the stage for a night where music took center stage.
A Feast For The Senses With Cocotte
The catering and cocktail service were masterfully handled by Cocotte, who delivered a culinary display as delicious as it was visually enchanting, attending to every detail of the cocktail hour and dinner. During the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed two signature drinks: the classic Bellini, honoring the bride, and the groom’s favorite, a vibrant Pisco Sour. This selection allowed each guest to toast to Jesús or Lola, choosing a drink that represented each of the evening’s stars.
Meanwhile, the band Cubalinda filled the air with Cuban rhythms, transporting attendees to another time and place with their immersive music. As night fell, the rumba group *Son del Aire*, specially invited from Barcelona, lit up the celebration with their vibrant energy. A truly unforgettable moment was Lola and Jesús’s impromptu dance to "Can’t Take My Eyes Off You", an intimate and spontaneous moment that left the guests speechless.
A Cake & Memories For a Lifetime
The cake-cutting moment was as emotional as it was unique. The towering five-tier cake, crafted by Cake Studio, was cut with Jesús's matador sword, the very one he uses in the bullring. This gesture, rich in symbolism and tradition, added a special touch that intertwined their love story with the passion and artistry of bullfighting. Guests watched in awe and emotion as the couple performed this distinctive ritual, making the cake and its cutting an unforgettable memory.
After the heartfelt cake-cutting moment, the celebration reached one of its most unforgettable highlights with the appearance of legendary matador Vicente Ruiz "El Soro." Renowned for his illustrious career and charisma in the bullfighting world, El Soro delivered a moving speech to the couple, celebrating the love and passion that unite them. To conclude his tribute, he played *Ave María* on his trumpet, filling the atmosphere with emotion and earning resounding applause in a moment that became etched in the memory of all present.
A Party Full of Surprises & Traditions
The celebration continued with unique moments and an atmosphere of genuine festivity. One of the most original touches was the distribution of personalized merchandise, including T-shirts, mugs, and temporary tattoos, featuring artistic representations of Jesús as a matador and Lola as a flamenco dancer, perfectly capturing their essence.
The highlight of the night came when Ferrer Ferrán’s Jesús pasodoble played, and the guests, filled with excitement, had the chance to symbolically "bullfight" using capes and small bull carts that brought the dance floor to life.
